Coin blank testing unit

Description

Our coin blank monitoring unit is designed to check circular coin blanks in terms of diameter, thickness and flatness.  Schuler offers an automated coin blank testing unit (PPE) that operates by means of an inclined conveyor, feed hopper, and a sorting/ejection unit that operates independently of the coin minting press.  For checking blanks 0.55 inches (14 mm) in diameter the throughput rate of the PPE is approx. 150,000 pieces per hour.
