Triton is a hybrid creature from Greek mythology that combines the advantages of a human body with those of a sea creature. True to this model, Schuler has now developed a new press concept for mechanical lines with and without servo drives, which thanks to their modular design not only allow individually adapted solutions, but also an attractive price.

The trident held by Triton is intended to stand for the high quality, performance, and technological innovation of the machines. "All Triton presses are already Industry 4.0-capable and thus ready for digitization," explains Frank Klingemann, Head of the Industry Division at Schuler. Thanks to many identical parts, fast and efficient service is also guaranteed.

Customers are convinced by the modular concept, too: "Schuler has put together the perfect line for us from this modular system, which ideally suits our needs," says Wolfgang Milinski, for example, press shop manager at Isringhausen GmbH Co. KG, a leading manufacturer of seating systems and technical springs for the automotive and commercial vehicle industries. Milinski describes the acquisition costs as "really manageable."

"Thanks to the consistent standardization of components, Schuler is able to offer its presses at an absolutely competitive price," adds Dmitri Reeva, NRC Production Director at Autoliv Inc, the world's largest automotive supplier of safety components. "Nevertheless, the combination possibilities are huge, so we get an individually tailored line with the best Schuler quality."
