Schuler and its new subsidiary Farina will make their first joint appearance at the Forge Fair trade show in Cleveland, Ohio. From May 21 to 23, the press manufacturers present their extensive product portfolio ranging from hammers, screw presses, hydraulic and mechanical forging presses, ring and wheel rollers to an extensive portfolio of services including component development, method planning and die engineering.
Thanks to the acquisition by Schuler in mid-2018, Farina can not only supply customers in Europe, but also in North America and Asia now. The Italian forging specialist offers production lines with press forces between 750 and 8,000 metric tons. It was founded in 1932 by Domenico Farina and started to produce hot forging presses in the 70s. Today Farina Presse designs, customizes and produces complete production lines. The company also provides retrofitting services.
Forge Fair is North America’s largest event dedicated exclusively to the forging industry according to the U.S. Forging Industry Association (FIA) that organizes the event.
