Schuler has opened a new service location in Querétaro, one of Mexico’s growth regions with many automotive companies and suppliers.

Querétaro is one of Mexico’s fastest growing regions with customers from different industries including automotive companies and their suppliers offering strong business potential for Schuler. This is why the company has opened here its third site in the country, located half way between Puebla in the South and Saltillo in the North. Around 60 participants took part at the ceremony in the Querétaro Industrial Park which included the traditional ribbon cutting procedure and a presentation with live demonstration of Schuler services.

“An initial staff of five Service technicians and Service sales in close proximity to our customers will help expand existing business relationships and forge new ones”, said Schuler Mexico CEO Carlos Valdés. Part of the premises is also a show room for live customer demonstrations, featuring a 125 metric ton BLISS stamping press capable of 30 to 60 strokes per minute in the standard configuration and paired with a new BLISS model B300 compact coil feed system for a width of up to 300 millimeters.

Schuler has received numerous major orders from Mexico in the past months and will deliver presses for the manufacture of structural automotive components and electric motors there, for instance. The first subsidiary in Puebla was founded 2005 with four employees, followed by Saltillo in 2008. In 2015, Schuler expanded its facility in Puebla and also invested in a production plant and in its Cedual training center based on the German dual training system. Today, the sales and service company employs more than 130 people in Mexico.
