Privacy policy for consent to receive information by e-mail


    At ANDRITZ Schuler GmbH and the other companies of the ANDRITZ Schuler Group, protecting your personal data is a top priority. Your data are collected, processed, and used (hereinafter jointly referred to as “Processing”) by Schuler Group GmbH and the other companies in the Schuler Group for the purposes indicated under Number 4 below. In light of this, we are providing you with the information below regarding your privacy and the handling of your personal data in accordance with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 – hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR”).

    The other controllers comprise the companies of the ANDRITZ Schuler Group (available at https://www.schulergroup.com/locations, hereinafter referred to as the “List of Companies”). These companies are responsible under data protection law to the extent that they process your data in order to provide you with customer service in your position with your company, and/or to alert you about events and/or products. Companies of the ANDRITZ Schuler Group are also located outside of the European Economic Area, which means that your data will leave the European Economic Area. Please refer to the List of Companies for the specific countries to which this applies.

    3. Storage period

    The personal data provided on the other side of this form will only be stored for as long as it should be necessary in order to provide you with customer service, including the sending of information about events and/or products, or until such time as you withdraw your given consent to receive information by email and object to the Processing of your data for promotional purposes.

    4. Legal basis for Processing

    Wherever the Processing of your data takes place in order to send you information by email, this shall occur on the basis of your expressly declared consent in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a; Article 7; Article 4, no. 11 GDPR. Apart from this, Processing shall take place on the basis of Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f GDPR, wherein providing you with customer service and, in the process, also contacting you about promotional matters constitute the legitimate interest necessary for said Processing on the part of ANDRITZ Schuler GmbH and the other companies of the ANDRITZ Schuler GmbH.

    5. Recipients

    The data are processed by employees in the Marketing, Sales, and Service departments of ANDRITZ Schuler GmbH and the ANDRITZ Schuler GmbH, who are responsible for providing your company with customer service, or for informing you or your company about new products or upcoming events.

    Transfer of your data to recipients outside of Schuler: Where it is necessary to do so, we share personal data with companies that we engage in connection with data processing, in compliance with the applicable requirements under data protection law. 

    6. Rights in regard to data processing

    8. Withdrawal of consent, right to object

    You have the right to withdraw your given consent at any time. You may also object, with future effect, to the Processing of your data for promotional purposes at any time. This withdrawal or objection shall not affect the lawfulness of Processing which has taken place prior to the withdrawal or objection, respectively. Instead, the withdrawal or objection shall only apply to future Processing. You can withdraw your consent and object to the Processing of your data for promotional purposes by sending an informal declaration to datenschutz.web@schulergroup.com. Aside from any data transfer or connection fees, you will incur no costs in doing so.
