Description

In addition to conventional tensile testing on incoming raw material, Schuler also performs burst tests with our specially developed burst test unit. While the traditional longitudinal tensile test provides only data in the longitudinal direction, the data gained in Schuler's burst tester is much more closely related to the actual hydroform process - resulting in better quality parts.

The burst test offers:

• Mechanical tube properties by stretching a sample tube in the circumferential direction
• Performance test for weld seams
