Dr. Peter Jost

Dr. Peter Jost (48) joined Schuler AG as Chief Operating Officer (COO) on March 6, 2013. The Supervisory Board appointed Jost for this newly created position as the press manufacturer’s fifth Board of Management member. In this position, the doctor of mechanical engineering will be responsible for the Procurement, Production and Logistics divisions of the Schuler Group.

Born in Austria, Jost comes from the Graz-based technology group Andritz, where he has held various management positions at different facilities – mostly in manufacturing and procurement – since 1997. In his last position, he headed the Group Operations Management division of the Andritz Group and thus held global responsibility for all purchasing and manufacturing processes.
