An hydraulic press line for outer skin panels
Description
A hydraulic press line was delivered to a leading automaker as a turnkey system for producing aluminum outer-skin panels.The line consisted of a 2250 US ton (2000 metric ton) lead press, four 900 US ton (800 metric ton) downstream presses and a tryout press. All presses are equipped with a hydraulic drawing cushion.
Turnkey installations such as this assure that all components of the line - from automation to presses and dies - are precisely adapted to the material being processed. Each Schuler component is designed to function in coordination with the others.
