Fast and flexible changeovers.
Changeover systems and aids not only simplify the handling of heavy dies and die sets, they also significantly reduce the time required for changeovers. Depending on the particulars of the die, Schuler has the right solution - from single station changeovers by a die change arm up to changeover of the entire die set. The die change arm permits fast changeovers of a complete die station or of a lower die or punch separately. For die set changeovers the die set is pulled out of the die space on rollers via consoles. Depending on the die weight this process can be automated or performed manually.
