Straighteners
Description
Schuler builds straighteners based on the 12 + 1 principle for the automobile industry. This means that the 13th straightening roller can be separately adjusted to provide the sheet with the desired concave or convex curvature. In this way, problems with threading of the coil into the blanking die are virtually excluded. For material changeovers from steel to aluminum complete cassettes of straightening rollers can exchanged. Changeovers of the straightening roller cassettes can be semi-automatic or fully automated.
