Swingarm feeder

Description

Swingarm transfer technology was especially developed for the Compact Crossbar Press.  By means of the systematic separation of press and transfer system, each part can be designated its own motion profile, whereby production rates can be significantly improved.
In a compact crossbar press each forming station has its own independent transfer module with its own motion sequence that is freely programmable. Part transport is sequenced directly from one forming station to the next. Part orientation stations are not required and position changes of the parts are achieved at each station as needed by the swingarm module.  Swingarm modules are also used for blank feeding and unloading of finished parts.

Advantages

  • freely programmable motion curves
  • part transfer from die station to die station without intermediate stations
  • flexible part orientation by six motion axes
  • optimal freedom of motion thanks to adaptable axes
  • high stroking rates
