ProgDie-press with coil line in long design and sound enclosure

High stroking rates – low costs per unit

Schuler's ProgDie (progressive die) presses are recognized for their high stroking rates and low costs per unit. In using these pressesm the part transfer is controlled by the feed of the coil line. Parts are seperated from the coil strip only with the last stroke.

These are single-slide presses, used primarily in the production of structural parts. In actual use, ten or more stamping stations are standard. Because of the high loads on the spring-loaded dies, drawing depth on these presses usually is not more tahn 4.7 inches. Consequently, ProgDie manufacturing requires special attention to the feeding system of the coil line, as stroking rates up to 60 spm are necessary for maximum feed accuracy.

Mechanical ProgDie presses (6.3000 to 32.000kN) allow production rates up to 60 strokes per minute. Stamping and forming coils with servo technology( 281 to 708.1 tons) can achieve stroking rates up to 110 spm.
