Mechanical blanking and forming presses TMK with knuckle-joint drive
Description
Demands in sheet processing and forming presses:
- More parts production
- Improved part dimensional accuracy
- Greater material strength
Blanking and forming presses in Schuler's TMK series offer systems that cost effectively provide:
- Blanking
- Drawing
- Coining
- Piercing
- Calibrating
These are for producing ready-to-install precision parts in a single operating sequence. A number of field-proven modules are offered that can be assembled to form application-specific, customized systems.
Presses in the TMK series are mechanical presses with modified knuckle-joint drives. They are available in nominal forces of 220 to 1650 tons, with bed dimensions of 60 to 157 inches, fixed or adjustable stroke.
Advantages
- High stroking rates, even for complex parts
- Multiple forming operations in a singe press pass
- Extreme rigidity of the entire system
- Reduced impact speeds to protect dies
- Optimized slide motion by means of modified knuckle-joint drive
- Precision, ready-to-install parts, requiring no additional machining
