Laser Systems

In the field of laser processing Schuler combines process know-how with equipment technology configured to suit customer-specific needs. Schuler capabilities in laser processing include cutting, welding, hardening or lettering in both 2D and 3D applications. In order to meet the wide variety of customer requirements Schuler has developed two highly flexible laser systems: MOBILAS and PEDILAS.

MOBILAS

Cartesian, column-type machine
MOBILAS operates in accordance with the flying optics principle
Due to modular construction a large variety of laser processing operations is possible

PEDILAS

Modular, 2-sided (gantry type) design of machine
PEDILAS consists of two side girders not connected to one another on a foundation supplied by the customer
Construction of side girders guarantees a high degree of stability against static, dynamic and thermal influences
