Ingo Schnaitmann appointed as Schuler’s new Head of Corporate Communications

Schuler AG has appointed Ingo Schnaitmann (47) as its new head of Corporate Communications. Schnaitmann will take over from Hans Obermeier on September 1, 2011. Hans Obermeier was handed responsibility for corporate communications of the Goeppingen-based market leader in metalforming on an interim basis in March and will now take up a new position, as planned.
Ingo Schnaitmann is an acclaimed communications professional and press spokesperson with extensive experience in the German engineering industry. Schuler’s new communications expert boasts over ten years’ experience as press spokesperson of the Trumpf Group in Ditzingen, Germany, and is well acquainted with Schuler’s business environment.
In a Group press statement, Stefan Klebert, CEO of Schuler AG, explained the change in personnel as follows: “The quality, transparency and scope of Schuler’s corporate communications have improved considerably over the past few months. Ingo Schnaitmann is the right specialist for us to continue this course. The Board of Management looks forward to working closely with him and thanks Hans Obermeier for his excellent work in successfully repositioning Schuler.”
