New twin-rod high-speed blanking press with automation ensures speed and high productivity
With a performance rating of 300 strokes per minute, the new MCF twin-rod high-speed blanking press not only offers considerably more speed, but also increases productivity. The high-speed press from Beutler Nova, the Schuler Group’s Swiss subsidiary, also features a special slide guiding system which guarantees a high degree of precision during blanking.
“We’ve already designed and built numerous customized cells with similar performance specifications on request. We have now taken the decisive next step: with immediate effect, we are offering fast blanking cells with up to 300 strokes per minute and press forces of 630 kN to 2,000 kN,” explains Benedikt Schenker, Technical Director of Beutler Nova. “The new high-speed blanking presses are particularly suitable for the production of precise parts with a high cutting accuracy”. In addition to its performance and productivity, the new press offers a further decisive advantage which is financially beneficial for customers – its modular construction from tried and trusted machine components.
Tailored solutions
The new line rounds out Beutler Nova’s range of twin-rod automatic blanking presses. Customers can choose from a wide array of products and services for tailored solutions. The range of uses for the new machines is correspondingly large. Composite parts, hinges, connecting parts, parts for electric motors and laminations are just some of the products which can be produced. “We’re always there when our customers have a ‘need for speed’. This solution is particularly well suited for flat, small and mid-size parts with low level of deformation,” says Benedikt Schenker.
High blanking precision
However, speed is just one of the benefits which the range offers. The slide guidance system also sets new standards. The slide’s preloaded and play-free roller bearing guiding guarantees a high degree of precision during blanking. This enables the production of small parts with tight die clearances. “Moreover, the machines feature automatic stroke and slide adjustment even in the basic version, while feed data can be stored in the easy-to-operate control system. Together, this means that users can expect very short set-up times and a high degree of flexibility in production,” adds Benedikt Schenker. This enables customers to produce a wide variety of parts in quick succession.
Swiss quality
Benedikt Schenker: “On the one hand, we offer a reliable high-speed blanking cell. Its development drew on the Schuler Group’s expertise in high-speed presses and Beutler Nova’s experience in building smaller presses. This cooperation guarantees high quality and reliability in machine operation – around the world. Our customers benefit from Schuler’s global service network, which guarantees permanent machine availability for production processes. On the other hand, the lines offer high speed with the same high level of blanking precision. This represents a real leap in economic efficiency for our customers,” states Benedikt Schenker.
