Description
Cupping presses are used in the manufacture of can bodies – so-called cups – for two-piece beverage cans. The line, with a capacity of 140 metric tons and a maximum production speed of 250 strokes/minute, is designed to manufacture more than 3,000 cans per minute. Despite its high speed, the press can be installed without any special foundation thanks to the dynamic mass counterbalance.
The no-maintenance direct drive, used in conjunction with an extremely fast clutch-brake combination, guarantees high levels of press uptime. In addition, these presses are notable for achieving superior part quality and long die service life thanks to the play-free slide guiding and maintenance-free roller bearings.
Your advantages
- High production rates
- High levels of uptime and minimal nonproductive time by means of maintenance-free direct drive, anti-vibration AC main motor and hydraulic unit with easy access
- Reduced die wear and optimal part quality thanks to play-free, pretensioned slide guiding
