Description
Every profile cross-section requires its own set of tools (rollers). First of all, a profile pattern is developed. The profile pattern is a drawing of the cross-sectional shape of the forming stand.
Subsequently, the shape of the roller tooling is determined. For this purpose, the Schuler roll forming specialists work at CAD stations equipped with software developed especially for roll forming applications called COPRA RF. This software also has been developed to also include various quality assurance components. These include, among others, FEM simulation. Upon completion of the roller design we determine the required number of forming station for the specific application.
