Turn-key plants with spiral pipe welding lines

Description

Schuler plans and implements turnkey production plants to manufacture large diameter spiral welded pipes. Schuler spiral pipe welding lines are designed in two different variations:

Combined forming and welding line (on-line process).
In this case, the pipe forming is directly followed by submerged arc welding on the inside and outside of the pipe.

Separate forming and welding line (off-line process).
The pipe forming is followed by subsequent tack welding. Then, on separate welding stands, the internal and external submerged arc welding is performed.

The production lines meet the most demanding requirements in terms of diameter tolerances, welding gap, line availability and output.
