Blank lubrication unit

Description

Lubrication units are offered for both coil stock and blanks.  For press lines or compact crossbar presses, the lubrication units are integrated with the front-of-line system.

After washing, blanks are prepared for stamping or forming via a specified lubrication.  Flexible, controlled spray nozzles in the lubrication unit ensure a high degree of part quality when forming with powerful drawing forces.  Schuler offers two different spraying methods:

• SD 20 - The needle stroke and the size of the opening are fixed
• SD 30 - Automatic spray head can vary the amount of lubricant for each spraying area
