Description
Press hardening lines are used mainly for the volume production of safety-related parts. Crash tests with integrated, press-hardened structural parts have shown that significantly improved material characteristics can be achieved and with reduced weight.
The spectrum of press-hardened parts include, among others: side impact bars, A and B-pillars, sills, support parts, mounting plates, reinforcements, transmission tunnels, door frame reinforcements, bumpers.
