Description
After the last forming station in a mechanical or hydraulic press line, it is important to have fast, gentle handling of parts headed for downstream processing. Users have the choice between manual part unloading from one or more conveyors or automated stacking of finished components.
Part stacking units are reliable and fast, while ensuring part quality. A special suction-cup technology protects the highly sensitive surfaces of outer skin panels for downstream processing and preparation for subsequent body-in-white assembly.
Robots or overhead feeders ensure safe, reliable part handling, and if required, they can be used as intermediate stations to provide more protection for stacking panels.
If the plant already has an automated system of stamping plant logistics, then it is advisable to use a fully automated pallet stacking system when integrating new press lines.
