Edge trimming equipment
Description
The appropriate coil width is typically used for every product manufactured on the blank cutting line. With Schuler edge trimming equipment, however, it is possible to reduce the number of coil sizes and to produce a number of coil widths from the same standard coil. The edge trimming equipment trims both sides of the coil strip to achieve the desired width. Depending on the application the created scrap may be chopped or coiled up again. For this purpose Schuler offers edge strip coilers, edge strip choppers or recoilders.
