Schuler celebrates premiere of blanking and forming presses with servo drive
On January 18th, 07 Schuler Presses presented its new press generation – blanking and forming presses with servo drive – to the public. More than 300 guests travelled to Göppingen, Germany to find out more about the new technology that was presented in the specifically modified assembly shop. The special features of the Schuler servo drive technology were presented to the guests by means of lectures and live camera fade-ins. In addition presentations took place directly at the three presses with press forces of 2500, 4000 and 6300 kN. This way each guest had the opportunity to get an insight into the technical highlights. Afterwards the guests were invited to a festive dinner which took place directly inside the assembly shop. Then the band "Me and the Heat" entertained the guests until the early morning hours with their sweeping party sound.
