Powerful and flexible
The new Schuler blanking and forming presses of the PSE series are specially designed for the flexibility required by supplier companies. They can be quickly adapted to suit other areas of application. This flexibility is thanks to the servo drive technology with which these presses are all equipped. The presses are designed in monoblock construction and consist of standardized modular components. They can be operated, depending on the design of the dies and automation, as transfer presses or as presses using the progressive die principle. The complete Schuler systems solution includes the press and all peripherals: from destacker/blankloader or coil line and on to die technology and tri-axis transfer system and part unloading feeder – at Schuler, all available from a single source. Initial reaction from the markets to the new line has been positive. The first lines have been sold to a German supplier company shortly after the introduction of the new press concept.
